Nate spoke to one of our marketing directors in April of 2022. They discussed why he joined HeadLight and what he appreciates about working with both his clients and his colleagues.

Q: What is your job at HeadLight?

A: As the manager of the Customer Success Team, I spend most of my day supporting HeadLight users and making sure that our Customer Success team has what they need to help users.

Q: Why did you join HeadLight?

A: After spending 15+ years with a large company, I wanted a change in my career path. I planned on staying in the technology industry and to work remotely with a little bit of customer travel sprinkled in. I decided to start looking for a smaller technology company with a great culture and product. This search led me to the Customer Success Manager position at HeadLight. We have a great culture, a product that transforms the way our customers work everyday. I am very happy I made the decision to challenge myself and broaden my horizons.

Q: What do you like about working with the people at HeadLight and working with HeadLight users?

A: I have never been in an environment with such awesome team chemistry. Both interdepartmentally and within the CX team, we have been able to foster a culture that allows our employees to expand their reach and use their experience and professionalism to make sure our customers can maximize the value of our software.

Q: How do you start your workday?

A: With a cup of coffee while making sure I’m ready for all of the day’s meetings and then I’ll review the past day’s observations for some of my more active accounts.

Q:What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

Most people don’t know that I am fully fluent in American Sign Language.

Q:What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

On the weekend I mostly spend time with my family. We enjoy the outdoors, going to museums, Marvel movies and traveling. If I’m not doing one of those things I’m probably working on a household chore that I put off for way too long!

Q:What is your motto or personal mantra? or What is your favorite quote?

“Don’t worry about biting off more than you can chew. Your mouth is probably a whole lot bigger than you think!”
