In his role as the Director of Delivery for HeadLight, DJ brings over a decade of diverse experience in the construction industry, combining a deep passion for technology with a hands-on approach to advancing construction processes and capabilities. His career has spanned coast to coast, from New York to California, where he has managed projects totaling over $4 billion in construction costs, across various sectors, including healthcare, mixed-use developments, senior living, and distribution centers.
He has been a buyer, speaker, and technology champion in the construction and engineering industry, and has a proven track record ensuring customer success while working directly in technology. His ability to “speak construction”, while introducing innovative solutions, has enabled him to successfully lead teams through complex projects, ensuring seamless adoption of new processes and technology.
DJ holds a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), holds a Certificate in Management for Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM), is a lifelong coach, and has been an adjunct professor teaching construction and technology. He is committed to connecting the construction industry with emerging technologies, driving forward progress, and building projects that redefine the industry’s future.
